Curator and adjunct lecturer at Chiba University of Commerce and Fukui University. Born in 1979, she received a M.A. in art history at Kyoto University. After working at several museums including The Museum of Modern Art, Kamakura and Hayama, she works in the fields of curation, criticism, and education as an independent curator. Her recent articles and essays include ”Restrictions and Release from ‘Definition of Art’: Regarding the works of Franck Miltgen” (Luxembourg Embassy & Youkobo Artspace, 2019), “Lofty Play: Narita Kazuko and her Sculpture” (YuiPort, 2019) and “Natsuki Awa” (Honoho Geijutsu, no. 150 (May 2022). Her latest exhibitions include “Emerging Artist from Kenya” exhibitions: “Dennis Muraguri Woodcut Prints” (Susono Art House, 2018) and “Patti Endo Drawings” (The Gallery Mishima, 2018).
