Born in 1978. Tsutsui Hiroki is an art historian who specializes in modern and contemporary art. He is an associate professor at Tottori University. His major books include History of Illustrator Akira Mori: Tottori Art and Postwar Japanese Illustration (2018), SPACE PLAN: Tottori Avant-garde Artists Group 1968-1977 (Edited, 2018), Contemporary Art theories (Edited, 2013), How to Analyze the Town: Little Magazine ‘Space’ and its Time (Co-edited, 2022), Kazuki Umezawa Re: Eternal Force Image Core (Co-edited, 2018). His curated exhibitions include “SPACE PLAN: Avant-Garde Art Collective in Tottori 1968-1977” (2018) and “Der Strum” (2013).
