1966~1969 Worked for the Tokyo Gallery in the Ginza, a major contemporary art commercial gallery in Japan
1969~1971 Studied at the School of Art Institute of Chicago.
1971~2004 Worked for British Council Tokyo as Arts Officer dealing with art exhibitions and the first visits to Japan by Royal Opera House and National Teatre etc.. .
1991 Awarded MBE
2004~2008 Lecturer for the Post Graduate Course of Arts Management in Keio University.
2008~ Director of Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto.
