Professor at Nagoya Zokei University of the Arts and Design
Takahashi Ayako born in Gifu City. She graduated from the department of behavioral science, school of literature, Hokkaido University. She worked as a temporary curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu, and a curator at the at AICHI ARTS CENTER(Aichi Prefectural Arts Promotion Servuce). In 2001, she became a teacher at Nagoya University of the Arts. In 2019, she became a professor at Nagoya Zokei University of the Arts and Design. Moreover, she took part in editing an art critic magazine “REAR”. Also, her interests in the postwar avant-garde arts made her investigate “Indépendants Art Festival” held in Gifu in 1965 summer, and this developed her lifework. She continues to consider the art project and the local community.
